So I mean, she didn't really say what you said, but I just said, well, thanks, I think. Well, now she scared her. But now I just you seemed like, last week when we were kinda doing some stuff, odd nose, okayers, I couldn't tell if you were didn't care. Didn't wanna be there. We're mad at some you know, I just didn't know. So I I guess I just wanted to talk to you and make sure that you're doing okay. And because you and I have a pretty open relationship, and I think you'll know I'll tell you the truth. So I was just kinda curious kinda how you were feeling and what you were thinking. Last week was hard for me all the way around, and it it wasn't overly much I know okay. Let me not let me not do that. Okay. So from Thursday, when I started catching wind of Laura's leaving. And the only reason I did that was because I I didn't know that he was leaving for sure, but HR asked me to mail an envelope. And I don't want you to fuss them at then for this because I am okay to do it. But they asked me to mail them something, and I caught the vibe that it wasn't a positive thing. It had to overnight, and it had to be there at a certain time. So that was a vibe. So I wasn't excited about that. So it worried me. 00:02:12 - [SCOTT_WARNER] It kinda makes sense based on something Robert said to me that I I don't know. I I I caught a sense of urgency kind of a situation. And and with, you know, with what the company is doing and left and right, people are falling like flies. So that that was a negative vibe. Started with the pit in the stomach. On Friday, when I got the voice mail or the text message from Robert saying, will you call Lars and have him drop the vehicle off at the Hampton Inn so I can pick it up on Sunday. 00:02:54 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Oh, Robert was out there? 00:02:56 - [MINNIE_GLEB] He was out there on Monday. I guess he must have flown in on Sunday because they had the North they had the West Coast meeting that day. I don't know where he was in the meantime. So that was an absolute that was gone. And it it just was sad. You can keep eating. I don't mind. Took the end off. You're okay? 00:03:23 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Yeah. I usually just kinda slow eat it over time. So 00:03:28 - [MINNIE_GLEB] So, anyway, you know, it was guaranteed that he was going. Tuesday morning. Because I didn't wanna say anything. And and when Lisa and I were at the desk, that's when I asked her. Was like, so is the Lara's thing public now? Because there had not been an announcement. And she said she didn't know, but she also didn't know that it wasn't public because she was out somewhere in the warehouse and said something about it. They were like, what? 00:04:00 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Well, I had the same problem in that I so she sent out an ELT email Friday. Mhmm. It I don't I wanna say it was late, but it could have been early. And he's like, what are you talking about? And I was like, well, the large thing. And he's like, what are you talking about? So I did pull her in today and talk to her about be careful of Robert letting Robert run the way he wants to run without some sort of check. Right. Because I say and I said, I don't know all the details, but Lars is a longtime employee and, generally, I think had good relationships with people. I mean, yeah, anyone can rub someone the wrong way, but, like, he was he was a fixture. So Well She said, I'm starting to get the feel for I was like 00:05:44 - [MINNIE_GLEB] I was like, yeah. Roger was just mister chatty Cathy about it. He's like, well, I know he's gone head to head with those two talking about Robert and Jordan. And because he's retired now. He's got there. But, anyway, so 00:05:59 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Robert doesn't love challenge. Right? Right. He likes to challenge. He doesn't like to be challenged. So I don't know Jordan as well. I mean, I've always been real friendly with him, but I don't I I couldn't tell you anything about his management style, whether people love him, hate him, whatever. So 00:06:14 - [MINNIE_GLEB] What I hear is that he's very micromanaging, always on the phone, always checking, always checking, always checking. But that's all I know. And those two are peas in a pod everywhere else. 00:06:24 - [SCOTT_WARNER] I I called Matt Howard about all this just so you know. And and I I told him. I was like, look. It's your company to run, man. But I get it. But I'm high enough enough. I feel like I should at least speak my mind. And he said, please do. So I kinda let him have it a little bit. And I just said, you know, I I was supportive of giving Robert a chance to prove his sales chops. I I still don't regret that part, but I said what I didn't know is that he was gonna rebuild the entire company in his image. And I just challenge you to ask, is that really what you want? Because you can't undo that. Right. And he his statement was very Matt Howard, which is I'm not gonna show you my cards kind of a situation, but it was very much a I know what he he I think it was I know what I bought. 00:07:16 - [MINNIE_GLEB] Yeah. I could see coming because Lisa had a interview with somebody and told me it was confidential. I think Lisa did try everything to try and get her on board. And I don't know. I at some point, I'd love to talk to Vanessa and be like, why why wouldn't you do these things? She was seen as knowing a lot more until she was on her own, and then it kind of exposed some situations that were there. I I still think with right leadership, she could have lived, but I think Ryan was an asshole. I said, even if to leadership, it's not the same, it it is to everyone else. You know? I I said, you guys have to start understanding the way regular workers look at that who aren't in every meeting, who aren't in hearing it for the eighth time today or something like that. Was like, you know, these are impactful decisions and, you know, it's like, I don't know. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only voice of reason, which is terrifying because I'm not really a voice of reason at all. But that group just exists on a whole another plane that does not seem to understand that, like, hey. We have other people who work here. In the company. And I was like, you know, we're just at the point where it it said something to the effect of can't trust that obviously because even if it's not related to that Yeah. It's too close. You know, it's tough because I wanna like, if I put myself in Robert's shoes, whether I believe it now or not, like, you'd want to have the freedom to build the team because, honestly, he's created his own time bomb. If he's not successful by x date, he's out. So because he made promises, I'm not sure his his mouth made promises. I'm not sure his skill can deliver, but we'll see. And I I told Matt that I'll support him and and, you know, I'm a I'm a huge Robert fan in the right situations. I said, but I I said I I I told you before you put him in this position, I'll tell you now, I hate the way he does things. He doesn't give any care to who he hurts or what it means as as long as it furthers his goal. And I said, don't get me wrong. I know there's there's places for that kind of thinking. I said, you know, but we also the rest of us have to figure out how to work through it and, you know 00:11:45 - [MINNIE_GLEB] That's true. I said, there's not a day that recently that I don't come to work and wonder if it's, like so right after we did all that, like and they did I think there was an who was this? Amity called me to her office on a day and it was just really odd and, like, I was, oh, shit. Am I one now? Like, everybody's thinking it. I've never been good at projections or far planning or anything and it's 00:12:42 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Yeah. And that's sure what I kinda knew you don't love that, so I didn't take that. It was more just I don't know. I had a a lot's changed in adding Tanner. Vera's kinda been more stressed. You guys always seem to have a great relationship, but I don't I don't know how great. So to me, it's kinda it's kinda one of those, like, I just wanted to make sure that 00:13:01 - [MINNIE_GLEB] I miss 00:13:02 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Yeah. 00:13:02 - [MINNIE_GLEB] So, yes, we do have the addition of Tamara, which I'm being more cautious to make sure that I don't have anything close to what happened with TTS coming through, making sure that we'll just and and everybody went through the list. Mhmm. And the list is good. But Tanner has things to learn too. You know, there's some fleet mix over here. And so far, she hasn't been able to onboard him completely into what his part of fleet is. And then he hears me talk about fleet. And, you know, there's that crossover, and it's not it's not a crossover, and he's not doing anything wrong. Yeah. He's just not busy yet. Yeah. So that and that's okay. But I have to be patient because, you know, you know how much I like change. Right? It's so exciting. 00:13:49 - [SCOTT_WARNER] I like Tanner but he's got some quirks to him that I've identified and it it was hard for me to let Vera have so much freedom on that but I felt like it was important because I can't say I wanna grow you and then not trust her. Right? So that's the challenge is every now and then he'll do something and I'm just like 00:14:10 - [MINNIE_GLEB] He's he's got a woman. So he's he's got something to learn in. You know? And I know what my personality things are. I don't like change, but I'm trying to to encourage him. Today, I was I'm a big girl pain, so was very proud of him because he and, generally, I I wouldn't necessarily do this, but I want us to stay on a good thing. Mhmm. I had asked him about Alex's flex about the flex and the tires. So he did some investigation more than I asked for, but that's okay. But then when he went to find out if she was available, he went to Chris. He's like so I reached out to Chris, Dublin, and then, you know, to Alex. And we finished that conversation. I said, I need you to do me a favor. Because it's kinda happened a couple of other times. It's like I've asked him about something, and he liked you. He was a picture. 00:15:05 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Yeah. He went to 00:15:06 - [MINNIE_GLEB] Right. And he doesn't he's busy, but he doesn't have time to take care of that. 00:15:09 - [SCOTT_WARNER] So So he's like, oh, sweet. Something to do. And it's like, yeah. 00:15:12 - [MINNIE_GLEB] And he's he's very helpful, and he wants to be helpful. So what I did say was, you know, when I bring something to you, I would love that you would bring it back to me rather than going around circle because, you know, they don't need to be covered up with it, and I would just you know? And he's like, oh, no. Yep. Okay. Yes. And then explained what he was doing, which made more sense, but that was really hard for me to do. And I did it very well. I was gonna sit awkward for a minute, and then I changed the subject and then we were done. Yeah. 00:15:41 - [SCOTT_WARNER] I still don't love doing those things, but, yeah, it does usually, if you just push through, it's okay. But Yeah. I hope Vera, she's never really had to lead on a bigger level. And so she's taken the dual challenge of a job she's never done before and then trying to still lead. So you'll have to not tell him. Like, I just I'll checkin with you just to make sure she's doing okay because will never tell me she's not doing okay. Like 00:16:08 - [MINNIE_GLEB] She's doing okay. She's I'm like, well, you know, she's always picked up more sleep than she probably should have, but she just does things. So now she doesn't have time to do it, which is good because now they're coming back to me. Now I paid attention, and I've tried to, you know, keep track of things, but now I'm actually happy to do it Yeah. Which I'm I have to, again, put on the girl the girl panties and make the decision, prove the thing, which is scary for me. Mhmm. But she feels I'm capable. But I dropped her off with copying her on everything because I'm copier on everything so that she would know in case somebody reached out to her. We'll just have her for that. It's not theirs. You know? And they they need to be close to each other because there's a lot that they will talk about. And I'm just I'm just trying to check myself so that I don't go sideways unnecessarily just because I'm hitting my own, if that makes sense. And I don't wanna do that. I I don't want anything close to it would not have mattered. Well, it might have a little bit who they brought in in just Saundra's place. And, you know, I just I just yeah. I really don't like doing those things because I don't feel confident like I'm adding anything to them. Thank you for encouraging me on that. But I don't wanna be worried in the room. That's not helpful. But I don't think in that type of design. And a lot of a lot of that feels like what we were talking about feels like stuff I don't know is coming. Mhmm. Like, there's things you guys know are coming so you know better how we have to react to address those things. 00:19:53 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Vera and I talked about this a little bit because that EHS facilities team kinda got the raw end of the deal because you had both people who designed it in the room at the same time. Whereas every other group IT kinda had the same situation, but Vera doesn't know IT, so she didn't offer as much. But, like, you had both of us who had kinda done a ton of work on the outside and that that's just not really a fair way to I told her and she agreed, we both should probably chill a little, but with Tanner being brand new and, you know, you're just your role, like, you're taking on more of, like, actual responsibility instead of kinda, you know I think before, Vera, I've always felt like she had your back, but now she understands that while she still has your back, it's it's more you're gonna have to ask her for help instead of her checking on it, you know, kinda thing. So, yeah, we both kinda noticed that that probably wasn't the greatest situation for you guys to go, wait, what what happened? So I I thought, you know, Tanner's I think did he send it to everybody his thoughts on it? Yeah. So he had good input and I appreciated him trying to find something, you know, to make sure he put out there. So that was nice. Yeah. It's one of those where I saw it and I was like, I need to reply, but I'm trying to figure out how to say, you know, whatever. But 00:21:10 - [MINNIE_GLEB] Okay. It's like he sees it as well, I think you and Robert can't it's not the same, but, like, Robert doesn't wanna do it because he feels like it's just fluff and gets in his way of actually firing people. I'm sorry. That's not fair. But of doing work. But, you know, I think, like, even, like, the logistics crew who I'm new to, you know, so they don't really know like, they know me, but not, like, how I work and things like that. So I think for them, it was a lot to handle because, like, I was trying to drive them a little bit to to get where I needed them to be, and it's I think they're like, wait. What? What just happened? So I but do this now. Yeah. Even Shawn, like, he just he's like, I don't care, man. Just tell me what numbers you want for what, and we'll figure it out. And you know? So I I would say don't feel alone on that. I think a lot of people but I think from the ELT point of view, we're trying to find some way to create a tie to what people do every day to what we're trying to do. And that's not as near as easy as it sounds because, like, operations team especially, like, we cost money and we create process and we just have rules and people are always like, we're the no fun team. But, like, you know, realistically, we're just trying to make sure that the organization can can move, you know, and and can do can we can sell. And, you know but, you know, some days people are like, you know, how do you impact sales? And I'm like, well, I do, but it's hard to always articulate what it looks like or, you know, whatever. When it comes to the the to Festool right now, I get it. I'm I'm in the same boat. Like, and I like, several people are like, you're here a lot now. And I'm like, well, like, you know, I'm charging logistics. They need their person here. And, you know, so and I said, honestly, it's kinda nice having a space that's mine. So because what it was is all those other days, I'd have phone calls and stuff, and I couldn't you know, it's like getting a conference room every ten minutes gets exhausting. So that's been good. And I I love that, like, except for today, I think I came out totally for you, like, three or four times, and, like, I think we were just I think the morning, you you had told me you were gonna be busy with all that stuff. And then I think I came out at lunchtime, and I missed you or something. But it was just funny because it's like sometimes I go on a mini hunt, and you're not and I'm like, where is she? 00:24:40 - [MINNIE_GLEB] She's over. Yeah. 00:24:41 - [SCOTT_WARNER] I don't need anything. I was just chitchatting and stuff. You know? So it's but it's nice. You're you're a good mental distraction for me as well. So Okay. 00:24:48 - [MINNIE_GLEB] Yeah. No. I I don't have any downstairs. I'll I it would break my arm if you go back up. But I understand how that works, and I absolutely felt so flattered that, like, you send me a picture of her. 00:24:58 - [SCOTT_WARNER] I asked. I said, do you care? She goes, no. Go for it. And I was like, okay. 00:25:01 - [MINNIE_GLEB] She cute, and you really can't see the buzz Yeah. In the picture. So just adorable. I was very tickled. 00:25:07 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Stacy said she's feeling quite more rundown. So today is, like, whatever the big twenty four hour one is, and she's on that. It's two a day. So this morning, they do something that's really quick, and then that's twenty four hours. And then tomorrow, as long as her numbers are looking okay, they'll do the next two. And then she gets to hopefully go home tomorrow, but we'll see. Stacy's not hopeful. But 00:25:27 - [MINNIE_GLEB] It does try. Yeah. But, yeah, I'm good. 00:25:30 - [SCOTT_WARNER] I think the nausea kinda started this is what's tough is, like, I know don't get I know there is nausea for sure. Kelly is so waiting for the nausea that I it's like, you know, if you sit around all day going, am I nauseous yet? At some point, you're gonna talk yourself into it. So but at least I think they have a good plan. They're gonna have her come back in a few days and just get a couple bags of saline because they said the dehydration for someone her size is such an issue and and things like that. So Okay. But no. She's yeah. I I was showing her the the doggy picks and stuff, and she was she makes her giggle, which I love. And but, yeah, then I said, can I send her a pic to you? And she I thought she'd say no because she's so protective of that sometimes. But, no, she said go for it. So I thought it cool.
