00:00:01 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] Yeah. Hopefully, this should be quick. Yeah. For the contest, we're trying to finish this up Mhmm. These contest rules. So we we have a little change where we only want to accept people who bought a tool this year k. Because it's called a test drive, and so it shouldn't be people who bought it, like, two years back. And there's some other consideration. But this is the, basically, the essence of it. Can we, in The US, tie this to a warranty of a certain date. It can't be tied to a purchase. Right? We can't say only tools allowed that you purchased this year, but the purchase date effectively determines the warranty start date. So we wanted to say warranty start date of 01012026, and it also needs to be registered to enter. 00:01:05 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Trying to decide if that would constitute a purchase or not. 00:01:08 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] Yeah. And I think the one you signed off on, it was register a tool that's eligible for warranty, which is kind of the same. Now we're just saying, but the warranty needs to start in 2026. So that's that's where we kind of stuck. It works it seems to work for Canada because even the lawyer there from Festool recommended to kind of put a date limit. Yeah. But 00:01:35 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Can you email me the wording real quick? And Yeah. I'll because I'm gonna call Dave about another topic, and I'll just ask him real quick. Like, my guess is it's probably okay because you're not saying purchase required. I mean, we still have to put the wording in that says no purchase required and all that. So Mhmm. I mean, technically, I could give you a tool. And if it was still under warranty, I would be eligible if I register it. Right? 00:02:01 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] Mhmm. Mhmm. 00:02:03 - [SCOTT_WARNER] So I think Yeah. I think we can get through, but I'll have I I just wanna double check it. That one's close enough that I just want to double check it. 00:02:10 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] I know. I know. This kind of is so complex. Next time we just do it. I don't think if I will do this ever again, but next time, yeah, random draw and 00:02:20 - [SCOTT_WARNER] you know, it it's just the way they word these laws. I mean, I think it it's funny because the intent is is the same really no matter how we word it. Right? It's just you have to dance around the way it's written. So 00:02:33 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] We also have to be careful in our marketing copy, and that's why how do we make it simple for customers to understand but not be so, yeah, good in such a roundabout? It's it is very tough, this one. So okay. We can when do you have this call? 00:02:53 - [SCOTT_WARNER] He's supposed to so he's on central time, so probably sometime before six is when he'll call. So just whenever you guys get a chance. Even if it's just a draft language, if you guys have something, just send that to me now. I just wanna get the concept through to him and see what he says. 00:03:06 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] K. 00:03:07 - [SCOTT_WARNER] And then I can go Yeah. So but then I can throw you guys an email back probably tonight and let you know what he said. So is that fair? 00:03:15 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] Good. Sounds good. Yes. We can do that. 00:03:17 - [SCOTT_WARNER] It right now. 00:03:18 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] Wait. I wanna see it first. Might send it. 00:03:21 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Okay. Okay. 00:03:22 - [PHILIP_STRNAD] We'll finish this up, and we'll send it to you, Scott. Okay? 00:03:25 - [SCOTT_WARNER] Good. If you have any questions, call me back.
