I connected with Shawn to pressure-test whether our planned Germany trip still made sense given my family situation and the possibility that I may not be able to travel.  Shawn was clear that my potential absence would not eliminate the value of the trip, but he emphasized the need for us to be aligned in advance on what we want to accomplish and what "moving the ball forward" actually means.

We also aligned that the original April timing no longer looks realistic.  Both of us agreed that April is too compressed, particularly with the San Francisco work and the growing demands around AdaptDx.
